The New York Yankees have signed infielder/outfielder Kelly Johnson to a one-year deal worth $ 3 million.
Johnson, 31, figures to play all over the diamond for the Yankees seeing time at second base, third base and the outfield. His signing does not rule out the Yankees re-signing free agent Robinson Cano.

Johnson appeared in 118 games last season for Tampa Bay hittin g.235/.305/.410 but displayed power in his bat again hitting 16 home runs and driving in 52 runs.
