The deal that would send Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Garza to the Texas Rangers is 99% done according to sources.

Davidson says that there are six players involved and that the two clubs are going over medical records now. It looks like Mike Olt and C.J. Edwards are definitely part of the package, and the Cubs seem to prefer Neil Ramirez to Luke Jackson.
That still leaves two additional players. It’s possible the Rangers might ask the Cubs to throw in a secondary piece in the deal.
Garza is 11-6 on the season with a 3.17 ERA in 71 innings pitched.
