The sellout streak of the Boston Red Sox has ended. After 820 consecutive sellouts, including the playoffs, the Red Sox record streak of sellouts is over.
In June the Red Sox set the record for consecutive sellouts in North America for major sports topping the 744 straight sellouts of the NBA’s Portland Trailblazers.
The streak began May 15, 2003, when the BoSox beat the Texas Rangers.
