Shane van Gisbergen and SafetyCulture Team Up for NASCAR Success

When three-time Supercar Champion Shane van Gisbergen made the leap from his native New Zealand to America to pursue a NASCAR career, he brought along some familiar faces—including global technology company, SafetyCulture.

In 2024, SafetyCulture entered the NASCAR scene as Trackhouse Racing’s Official Workplace Operations Partner, alongside its role as an associate partner for the season. The company also became the primary sponsor for van Gisbergen in four of his NASCAR Xfinity Series races. Additionally, SafetyCulture served as the primary sponsor for van Gisbergen’s Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway in August.

For van Gisbergen, having SafetyCulture involved in his NASCAR journey brings a sense of comfort and continuity. “I’ve met so many new people in America who I now call my friends, but it’s really nice to see SafetyCulture, who has been part of my racing career in New Zealand and Australia, join me over here,” he said. “They’ve seen the power of NASCAR, and I know they plan to be at a lot of races, using this relationship with Trackhouse and myself to connect with our amazing fans in America and around the world.”

SafetyCulture will be the primary sponsor on van Gisbergen’s No. 91 Chevrolet for several upcoming races, including:

  • Bristol Motor Speedway on April 13

  • Talladega Superspeedway on April 27

  • Texas Motor Speedway on May 4

  • Kansas Speedway on May 11

  • Michigan International Speedway on June 8

  • Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City on June 15

  • Pocono Raceway on June 22

But the partnership between SafetyCulture and Trackhouse Racing doesn’t stop with van Gisbergen. The company will also appear as the primary sponsor on Ross Chastain’s No. 1 Chevrolet for the Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway on August 23. Chastain, a five-time Cup Series race winner and runner-up in the 2022 season, is one of the most popular drivers in NASCAR today.

SafetyCulture sees its involvement with Trackhouse Racing, van Gisbergen, and Chastain as an opportunity to connect with fans while aligning with teams that value performance and improvement. “At SafetyCulture, we’re all about helping teams improve—whether that’s on the racetrack or the factory floor,” said SafetyCulture CEO Kelly Vohs. “Trackhouse Racing is a prime example, using our technology to get better and move fast – all under pressure. We’re energized by this partnership and being a part of helping them win this season.”

With both van Gisbergen and Chastain in the spotlight, SafetyCulture’s presence in the NASCAR world is set to grow, further cementing its role as a key player in the sport’s fast-paced, high-performance environment.
