The Norwegian born Dennis Hauger put the final touches on a dominate debut in Indy NXT on Sunday.
Hauger, who made his first start in the IndyCar ladder series, was fast in both practice sessions and began the race on the pole. His Andretti Global teammate, Lochie Hughes finished second with HMD driver Caio Collet rounding out the podium.
Stockcar racer turned open wheel hopeful Hailie Deegan pulled her way up to 14th on the day after qualifying last.
The Indy NXT Series is off until May 4th when they return to action at Barber Motorsports Park.
