The contenders for the NASCAR Cup Series title will be part of a field of 40 cars led by Martin Truex Jr. for the season finale at Phoenix Raceway.
Joey Logano, looking for his third championship, will join Truex on the front row with William Byron (eighth), and Tyler Reddick (10th) also being part of the top ten for the race start. Ryan Blaney is the championship hopeful who starts furthest back in the field at 17th.
The pole for Truex comes in his final race as a full-time driver as he plans to scale back his driving afterwards.
Coverage of the Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway will air on NBC beginning at 3:00 pm ET.
