Jamie Chadwick made history on Sunday becoming the first woman to win a race in the Indy developmental series. The win was the first win for a woman since 2010 when Pippa Mann won at Kentucky Speedway.
Chadwick began the day on the pole as the first woman to claim a pole on a road or street course in IndyCar’s developmental series history.
Nolan Siegel was scheduled to compete in the race however with him pulling double duty and also running Sunday’s IndyCar race he opted to pull himself out of the car with Kiko Porto taking his spot. Siegel entered the weekend third in points, 44 points behind. Porto and James Rowe would get together early in the race requiring Roe to get a new front wing.
With four laps to go Myles Rowe would make a move on Michael D’Orlando spinning out and collecting Jordan
