Browns tight end David Njoku burned lighting fire pit

The Cleveland Browns have added tight end David Njoku to the injury report after he suffered burns to his face and arm while lighting a fire pit at home.

Njoku is listed as questionable for Sunday’s contest against the Baltimore Ravens.

Malki Kawa, the agent to Njoku, thanked “everyone for reaching out” while adding that the 27-year-old was “ok.”

The Browns could use Njoku in the contest against the Ravens which could shape the AFC North. Already the status of quarterback Desean Watson is questionable with a shoulder injury.

Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson would fill Njoku’s role should he be unable to go on Sunday.

The Browns have also elevated tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden from the practice squad along with quarterback P.J. Walker.
