Justin Marks fastest in Xfinity Series practice on streets of Chicago

NASCAR is in Chicago running the first ever street race this weekend. The first time cars were able to take to the track was Saturday with the Xfinity Series turning laps. The fastest driver in the practice session was Justin Marks.

No Cup Series drivers were allowed to compete in the Xfinity Series event leaving the No. 10 Chevrolet of Kaulig Racing open for the Trackhouse Racing owner.

Marks has competed in just one Truck Series race since the 2018 season when he last competed in three events in both the Cup and Xfinity Series. Marks does own one Xfinity Series win in his career winning at Mid-Ohio in 2016 while driving the No. 42 of then Chip Ganassi Racing.

Qualifying would immediately follow. The Xfinity Series will run The Loop 121 at 5:00 pm ET (4:00 pm local) with coverage airing on USA Network and the NBC Sports Steam. The 55 lap race will have stage breaks at laps 15 and 30.
