Corey Heim out with illness, Toni Breidinger to race

Corey Heim is sick and will not be able to race this weekend at Gateway.

Heim’s seat in the No. 11 truck will now be occupied by Jesse Love who will be making his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut.

Love previously had been slated to occupy the No. 01 truck. Now that seat will go to Toni Breidinger.

Tricon Garage will ask NASCAR for a medical waiver so that Heim will remain eligible for the playoffs.

Heim is currently leading the Truck Series point standings scoring a win at Martinsville to go along with four top-five and nine top-ten finishes.

This season Love has been running for the ARCA Menards Series title. Though five faces he leads the points and has three wins.

Breidinger will be making her second Truck Series start. Earlier this year she finished 15th at Kansas in the No. 01 truck.
