Colton Herta will start 10th in today’s NTT IndyCar Race at Texas Motor Speedway.
The running of the PPG 375 will be the first race since Andretti Autosport made the decision to swap the race strategists for two of their cars.
Andretti Autosport made the decision to swap Scott Harner and Bryan Herta. While moves are not uncommon this one was sure to catch more attention.
Scott Harner moves over to become the strategist of the car driven by Colton Herta, forcing the recently turned 23-year-old to be separated from his father who now finds himself with the No. 27 team.
“It wasn’t my decision,” the younger Herta said during an interview at Texas Motor Speedway. “I obey their orders and what they want to do.”
The NTT IndyCar Series had their season opener in St. Petersburg where Herta finished 20th.

It has not been all tense moments for Herta at Texas. On Saturday he got a chance to climb in and sit inside the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ride of Nick Sanchez.
