Ross Chastain had quite a Friday. Prior to winning the pole for the XPEL 225 Craftsman Truck Series race on Saturday, the driver took time to go up the 251 foot Circuit of the Americas observation tower to throw down a watermelon.

With Chastain competing in both the Truck and Cup Series race this weekend one has to wonder if this could be a bit of foreshadowing?

This will be the second Truck Series race for Chastain on the year as he competed at Las Vegas on March 3 finishing 24th.
Though five Cup Series races this season Chastain has a top-five and two top-tens.
