In the 2022 season finale, Will Power captured his second IndyCar title besting his Penske teammate Josef Newgarden for the series title.
The race was won by Alex Palou in the No. 10 of Chip Ganassi Racing. Palou earned the bonus points for leading the most laps on the day in the 95 lap race.
Power began the race on the pole earning a point in the process while breaking a tie with Mario Andretti for the most poles all-time in IndyCar.
