Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story will not be in the starting lineup for Monday’s contest against the Twins.
The Red Sox have their annual morning start time to coincide with the Boston Marathon start but one player who will not be on the field is Story. With Story out, Christian Arroyo will see action at second base.
Story is not the only member of the Red Sox lineup out for the game. Travis Shaw will start at first base in place of Bobby Dalbec.
Though Story’s first six games for the Red Sox he is hitting .250/.280/.292 with three RBI and a run scored.
