Josh Berry will drive the No. 1 Chevrolet of JR Motorsports this weekend in the Alsco Uniforms 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

This will mark the fourth event that Berry has filled in for Michael Annett who remains sidelined as he recovers from a stress fracture in his right leg. Annett will miss his sixth race of the season.

Berry has run 19 Xfinity Series races thus far this season while seeing time with JR Motorsports and Jordan Anderson’s team. The highlight of the season for Berry was a win at Martinsville but he has scored a total of five top-five finishes and ten top-ten finishes on the year and sits 17th in the series point standings despite missing seven events as his contract with JR Motorsports in 2021 is for a partial season.

The 2021 season also saw Berry make his Cup Series debut as he filled in for both Justin Haley and Corey LaJoie due to Covid-19 protocols. JR Motorsports has already announced that Berry will be a full-time driver for the team in the 2022 Xfinity Series season.
