Ryan Preece saw his day end early after the Rookie of the Year contender ran into the back of BJ McLeod on pitroad.
Preece said he had looked down at his tachometer prior to the accident. Numerous lead cars were on pit road at the time of the accident resulting in a large number of wave around cars.

Preece was checked and released from the infield car center.
