Kurt Busch will make the 650th start of his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career in Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuickTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speewday.
Busch, the 2004 MENCS Champion, tweeted on the eve of the race “Tomorrow marks my 650th start. What a road it has been. I have lived and breathed by this sport for as long as I can remember. Here’s to 650 more.”

The day also marks the 500th career start of his younger brother Kyle.
Kurt has 30 career wins in the MENCS. After five seasons with Stewart Haas Racing, Busch moved over to the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro of Chip Ganassi Racing this season.
