Bills place Charles Clay on IR ahead of Week 17

Bills tight end Charles Clay will not play in the teams Week 17 finale against the Jets.

On Tuesday the Bills placed Clay on injured reserve with a back injury. Paid like a top-tier tight end, Clay struggled in his first year with the Bills after landing a five-year contract worth $38 million.

In his first season with the Bills the 26-year-old caught 51 passes for 528 yards and three touchdowns.
