The Patriots did not waste much time. After falling behind by 14 points quarterback Tom Brady found tight end Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown to cut the lead in half.
Brady’s touchdown pass was the 45th in his playoff career, tying him with Joe Montana for the most all-time.
The pass itself was just five yards, aided by a penalty on Ravens head coach John Harbaugh who walked onto the field to complain about a previous play.
With 6:41 left in the third quarter the Ravens lead 28-21.
