Dee Gordon has begun taking ground balls at second base suggesting his future with the Dodgers will not be at shortstop. The Dodgers sent the 25-year-old Gordon to Triple-A Albuquerque to start the season.
Gordon has compiled a .302/.368/.417 line during his minor league stay and has stolen 12 bases.
The Dodges have Hanley Ramirez and Mark Ellis at shortstop and second base. Gordon has 56 stolen bases over the last two seasons but has never been able to get on base enough to be more then a utility player.
