Mr. Irrelevant cut by Colts

The Indianapolis Colts needed to cut someone so they could sign tight end Weslye Saunders. Chandler Harnish was the victim. Harnish was drafted by the Colts with the final pick of the 2012 draft.

The final pick of the draft gets dubbed the name Mr. Irrelevant and Harnish would certainly be considered that when you factor in the Colts also made the first pick of the draft, Andrew Luck. Harnish was released on Tuesday.

Harnish has been inactive for all five of the Colts games this season. He grew up in Bluffton, IN and was the quarterback at Northern Illionis from 2008 to 2011. He is one of only ten players in NCAA Division I FBS history with a 200-200 game, consisting of at least 200 rushing yards and 200 passing yards.
