The Nationwide Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway will offer quite the NASCAR experience for fans this weekend. The Nationwide Series has three drivers neck and neck in a close fought title chase.
Elliott Sadler holds a nine point lead over the driver who beat him out for the title last year. Ricky Stenhouse Jr has a series high five wins and is looking to capture his second Nationwide Series crown before moving up to the Sprint Cup level next season. Trailing them is Austin Dillon who at twenty-five points back still has a reasonable shot at the crown. To make up any ground though, Dillon will need to hope for some bad luck.
If a closely fought championship is not enough for you perhaps pink cars is your thing. Nearly half the field will be in pink cars.
Here is a list of drivers who will experience NASCAR at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a pink car.
#2-Elliott Sadler, #31-Justin Allgaier, #54-Kyle Busch, #18-Denny Hamlin, #14-Eric McClure, #7-Danica Patrick, #11-Brian Scott, #88-Cole Whitt will all carry the color pink.
Also the Nationwide cars will carry a pink banner at the top of their windshields.
In addition to pink cars Sadler and Allgaier will be donning pink drivers suits for Friday nights race.
