Video: Joba Chamberlain hit by broken bat during Orioles/Yankees game

In the 12th inning of the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles Game 4 ALDS game, Joba Chamberlain was hit by a broken bat. Although Chamberlain left the game, x-rays came back negative in what is being called a “contusion”

It looked awfully painful.

The bat belonged to Matt Wieters who shattered his bat when he singled during the top of the 12th inning. A large piece went toward the mound and hit Chamberlain’s surgically repaired pitching elbow.
