With Terelle Pryor back under center for the Raiders the team likely figured it was time to just get rid of Flynn who is guaranteed $5.5 million this season.
In two games with the Raiders FLynn was 22-of-34 for 246 yards with a touchdown, an interception and three fumbles.
Flynn has not proven to be a starting quarterback in the NFL but could land back in Green Bay where he has previously backed-up Aaron Rodgers.
