With Justin Durant out for the season the Dallas Cowboys have signed free agent linebacker Tim Dobbins.
The 32-year-old Dobbins has appeared in 110 games over eight seasons in the NFL. His last two seasons were spent with the Houston Texans and prior to that he was a member of the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins.
That no one wanted Dobbins when the Atlanta Falcons let him go after the preseason speaks volumes about where he is at this point in his career. He is a substantial downgrade from Durant.
Cowboys working out veteran LB Tim Dobbins…seeing about a replacement for Durant. Dobbins has 110 career games in eight years

Durant was placed on injured reserve on Wedneday with a torn right bicep suffered in Monday’s loss to Washington.
