Champ Bailey has retired from the NFL.
Bailey, 36, spent 15 years in the NFL between the Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos. During that time he was a 12-time Pro Bowler. After being healthy for the better part of a decade injuries began to wreck havoc on Bailey over the last two years forcing him to play in just five games last year.
Despite interest from teams, Champ Bailey has decided to retire from NFL to pursue other career opportunities, agent Jack Reale said Tues.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter there were teams interested in Bailey which is surprising considering he looked gassed in the preseason while with New Orleans.
It should only be a matter of time before Bailey earns membership into the NFL Hall of Fame.
