Not only did the Dallas Cowboys lose on Monday night to the Washington Redskins, they also suffered injuries.
While quarterback Tony Romo was able to return the same will not be happening for linebacker Justin Durant.
Durant suffered a biceps tear according to team owner Jerry Jones and is likely out for the season.
With Sean Lee from the start of the season, Durant has been a key guy on the Cowboys defense leading the team in tackles despite missing two games. Kyle Wilber, a 2012 fourth-round pick, is next on the depth chart at weakside linebacker.
The Cowboys defense has been far better than anyone anticipated but if injuries start to mount up like they did a year ago this unit will again struggle.
