This the season. Bears linebacker Khalil Mack placed himself on the good list this year after paying off $80,000 worth of layaway tabs at a Walmart in his hometown of Fort Pierce, Florida.
“We here at Walmart would like to thank the Khalil Mack Foundation for your generosity, and for making so many families happy for the holidays!” the Fort Pierce Walmart revealed on its Facebook page last week. “Everyone is truly greatful [sic] for everything you have done for them!”
A $80,000 payment was sent from the Khalil Mack Foundation, a nonprofit for bringing educational, athletic, and extra-curricular initiatives to intercity and under-privileged populations.
