Peyton Manning linked to HGH in Documentary, QB calls report “garbage”

A documentary from Al-Jazeera alleges that Peyto Manning was supplied human growth horomone from an anti-aging clinic in Indianapolis.

The report which airs on Sunday night at 9 pm, features a former pharmacist at the Guer Clinic named Charlie Sly. The clinic alleges that Manning’s wife Ashley received HGH and other drugs but never in his own name according to The Huffington Post.

Sly also lists James Harrison, Julius Peppers, Mike Tyson, Ryan Howard and Ryan Zimmerman as athletes whom he supplied drugs to.

Clay Matthews also reportedly received Perocet to help him deal with pain for at least one game. Sly also claims that Matthews wanted Toradol at one point.

For what it’s worth Manning is already calling the report false. HGH was not banned by the NFL until 2011.

Manning has resumed working out but has not been able to practice with the Broncos. Brock Osweiler will again quarterback the Broncos this weekend in a match-up against the Bengals.
