Cowboys: Stephen Jones joins fans as being interested in seeing Kellen Moore play

Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones said on Friday that it would be “interesting” to see what Kellen Moore could do at quarterback for the team if given the chance.

Jones admitted that Moore lacks a strong arm but called him a “winner.” Meanwhile Jerry Jones has made it known that the team is committed to Matt Cassel this week but the game turning into a blowout could result in a switch to Moore at any moment.

Fans of the Cowboys have grown restless with the ineffectiveness of the offense to move the ball without Tony Romo and given the poor production of Cassel and Brandon Weeden before him they are right to be.

Moore has never played in a regular season game so any action this season would be his first.

The Cowboys have nothing to lose by playing Moore at this point. A 4-9 they are all but eliminated from the division race.
