The Arizona Cardinals have promoted running back Kerwynn Williams from the practice squad.
Williams will add much needed depth behind Chris and David Johnson now that Andre Ellington is sidelined.
To make room for Williams, the Cardinals have waived tight end Joseph Fauria. The Cardinals signed the 25-year-old Fauria a week ago but did not have him active for the season opener and now have set him loose.
