The Cleveland Browns have waived wide receiver Terrelle Pryor ahead of their Week 1 match-up against the New York Jets.
Pryor had made the transition to wide receiver and had made the Browns 53-man roster following pre-season action.
After practicing Thursday, Pryor was let go by the team following a meeting.
”Had great time at Cleveland,” Pryor wrote. ”Happy to get opportunity at Cleveland and good luck this weekend vs jets!”
The Browns needed a roster spot for running back Robert Turbin who was let go by the Seattle Seahawks with an injury settlement.
