Raiders hire Mike Tice as offensive line coach

The Raiders have added Mike Tice to their coaching staff under new head coach Jack Del Rio.

Tice will become the Raiders new offensive line coach after serving in the same role with the Falcons last season. In Oakland he will be reunited with Del Rio who he previously worked under in Jacksonville.

Tice will be tasked with fixing the Raiders offensive line which produced just 77.5 rushing yards per game in 2014, worst in the NFL. If there is a silver lining for Tice it is that they fared well in pass protection allowing rookie quarterback Derek Carr to be sacked just 24 times.
