Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning played Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round game with a torn right quad reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Manning suffered the injury in the first half of a Week 15 win over the Chargers. The bruising from that injury reportedly went to the back of his leg. While Manning was able to practice in full and play following the injury his production dropped significantly.

In 13 games before the injury Manning had 36 touchdowns and 11 interceptions but after it that ratio dropped to 4:4.
Speaking to reporters after Sunday’s loss Manning did not shed any light on his future. The Broncos surely will want him back even at his $19 million price tag. Whether or not head coach John Fox returns is also in question.
