Bills hire Greg Roman as new offensive coordinator

The Bills are wasting little time in filling out their coaching staff.

After announcing Rex Ryan as their head coach on Monday the team hired Greg Roman as their new offensive coordinator.

Roman was the offensive coordinator of the 49ers last season. Ryan and Roman have experience working together as they both were on the Ravens from 2006-2007.

The biggest task Roman will have going forward is figuring out the Bills messy quarterback situation. Veteran Kyle Orton has retired leaving the Bills with E.J. Manuel at the top of their depth chart.

Roman will further be hurt by the Bills lack of a first round pick to spend on a quarterback and a skinny market of free agent quarterbacks. Given all that Manuel may be the Bills best option.
