The Giants have fired defensive coordinator Perry Fewell.
After serving as the Giants defensive coordinator for the last five years Fewell is sent packing following a dismal run in New York. The Giants finished with bottom five defenses in three of the five years during Fewell’s run with the Giants. This season was brutal as the Giants finished 30th in defense allowing 4.9 yards per carry.
Previously Fewell served under Giants head coach Tom Coughlin in Jacksonville from 1998-2002.
Once considered for head coaching jobs, Fewell will now be looking for any and all options this offseason.
