With multiple teams showing interest in him the chances of Mike Shanahan returning to the NFL sidelines are looking up. The latest team to speak with the two-time Super Bowl winning coach is the Oakland Raiders.
The Bills and 49ers have also shown interest in Shanahan who sat out this year after losing a power struggle in Washington against a front office who backed quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Shanahan previously lasted just over a year as the Raiders head coach as he butted heads with then owner Al Davis. With Mark Davis now controlling things a return is possible.
Raiders have also been linked to Tony Sparano, Jack Del Rio, Pat Shurmur, Eric Mangini, Todd Bowles, Pep Hamilton, Scott Linehan and Darrell Bevell.
