Lions consider re-signing Ndamukong Suh a priority

It should come as little surprise but Lions head coach Jim Caldwell called re-signing defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh “one of our highest priorities.”

Caldwell is finishing up his first year with the Lions and he knows that while the silly penalties make headlines surrounding Suh so to does his play.

Suh is coming off a season in which he recorded 53 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

“Suh is a dominant, dominant player who we benefit from having his services,” Caldwell said. “Suh is quite a player.”

Whether or not Suh gets paid like J.J. Watt from the Lions or someone else remains to be seen.
