Rex Ryan has cleaned out office in anticipation of Monday firing

Jets head coach Rex Ryan has cleaned out his office with just hours left in the 2014 regular season.

Ryan, along with others, could see their jobs lost on Black Monday – a widely accepted day of the year which NFL teams who failed to make the playoffs make coaching and front office changes.

According to NJ.com, new consultant Charley Casserly “already has begun contacting prospective replacements for head coach Rex Ryan and general manager John Idzik, who both figure to be fired after Sunday’s season finale in Miami against the Dolphins.”

While Ryan has not been informed of his fate, he apparently heard enough though the grapevine to clean out his office.

Last year Ryan got similar word that Idzik was considering firing him. He gave a big speech that rallied his team to win their season finale and finish 8-8. Idzik then kept Ryan as the Jets coach which could prove to be part of his down fall.

Fast forward to this year and the Jets are just 3-12. Change is going to happen for both.
