The status of Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is looking like a game time decision heading into Sunday’s game against the Steelers.
After putting up monster lines over the last two weeks – including an 11 catch, 259 yard, 1 touchdown performance against the Packers last week – the star receiver has missed practice all week with a hip injury.
Given the Steelers poor secondary this would seem to be a great match-up for Jones but the problem is he may not be able to play in it.
D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution says that Jones can barely run and would be merely a decoy in Sunday’s game.

You can believe it. If we are reading it the Steelers know it.
The 25-year-old Jones has had a monster season on the Falcons, who at 5-8 are still at the top of the NFC South. Through 13 games played he has 93 receptions for 1428 yards and six touchdowns.
We will not fully know the status of Jones until Sunday morning but it is not looking good.
