The Redskins will again send Colt McCoy out to be their quarterback on Sunday.

McCoy who suffered a neck injury a week ago in a hapless effort against the Rams has been cleared for the Week 15 game against the Giants.

He handled all of the Redskins first-team snaps this week and will continue to stay ahead of Robert Griffin III on the depth chart for now.

Whether or not McCoy finishes the game remains to be seen. The more he plays the more defenses adjust and the worse the outcome has been for the Redskins.

On the season he has completed 71.9-percent of his passes for 1,018 yards while compiling a 4:3 touchdown to interception ratio. He has run 14 times for 42 yards and a touchdown.

McCoy is not going to surprise anyone but the Redskins have gotten nothing out of Robert Griffin for the last two years. The biggest question in Washington remains whether it will be head coach Jay Gruden or Griffin who will be leaving at the end of the season.
