With Ahmad Bradshaw done for the season the backfield in Indianapolis has even more questions.

Trent Richardson continues to disappoint following a trade last year as the Colts attempted to claim Ben Tate off waivers earlier this week to replace him.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday NFL Countdown that the Colts could increase the plays of Dan Herron going forward.

Herron had a big preseason running 22 times for 112 yards while adding 11 catches for 55 yards and a touchdown but has been largely kept off the field during the regular season despite the struggles of Richardson.

Richardon will start on Sunday for the Colts so expecting to catch lightning in a bottle with Herron in fantasy leagues is a risk especially with only two teams on byes this week.

In parts of 10 games this season Herron has 74 yards on 22 carries adding two catches for nine yards.

Colts declared TE Dwayne Allen, LCB Greg Toler, OG Lance Louis, OL Khaled Holmes, DT Kelcy Quarles, RT Gosder Cherilus, and DL Zach Kerr inactive for Week 12 against the Jaguars.
