Josh McCown returned to the starters role for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday but it was not enough for the team as they suffered yet another loss.
In Sunday’s loss McCown was 27 of 43 passes for 301 yards with two touchdowns but he also threw two interceptions in the fourth quarter.
McCown was given a two-year deal in the offseason. After struggling early on he suffered an injury and was replaced by Mike Glennon. The second-year Glennon was just as ineffective forcing head coach Lovie Smith to give McCown the starters job back. Overall the Buccaneers are 1-8 on the season.
