Percy Harvin will be limited in his debut with the New York Jets on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Jets head coach Rex Ryan said that Harvin will return kickoffs and maybe punts. In the offensive gameplan Harvin will have a small package of plays as he works to learn offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg’s playbook.
Percy Harvin will return kickoffs, maybe punts, will have small role on offense, per Ryan. Unrealistic to expect him to play 50 snaps. #nyj

For now it will be Eric Decker and Jeremy Kerley getting the bulk of the targets from Geno Smith. Decker was limited in practice on Wednesday but thus far is not said to have had any setbacks from his early season hamstring injury. He should have no trouble playing against Buffalo.
