Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne could miss 1-2 games after suffering an elbow injury in Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to ABC6 in Indianapolis, Wayne could miss time with what appears to be a minor elbow sprain. Still the Colts who are in control of the AFC South will exercise caution and play it safe.

Coach Chuck Pagano did not share the results of an MRI on Monday, and the after game remedy of Wayne appears to not have worked.

“Go home, have an adult beverage and see how it feels in the morning.” said Wayne after the game.

The absence of Wayne will allow Hakeem Nicks to slide into an every-down role opposite of T.Y. Hilton.

October has proven to be a tough month for Wayne. It was a year ago that Wayne suffered a knee injury that kept him out for the rest of the season.
