A bottle of cologne and a pack of underwear that Dallas Cowboys running back Jospeh Randle allegedly attempted to steal from a Dillard’s in Frisco continues to become more and more expensive.

“It’ll be a major fine — game-check range, and he’ll do some other things that go with it: community service and things like that we’ll want him to do – significant discipline,” Stephen Jones said during a interview with USA TODAY Sports. “Unfortunately, that’s why he fell a little bit in the draft, just a little bit of the off-the-field stuff.

“He doesn’t necessarily make the best decisions. And he made a bad one there. He understands.”

On Wednesday the Cowboys announced that they would fine Randle one game check or $29,117 following his arrest.

“I don’t think this is the norm for him,” Jones said. “He’s come a long way in a couple of years. He’ll be a good person and a good face for the organization ultimately. It was a good learning experience for him.”

Randle ran five times for 52 yards in the Cowboys Week 6 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
