If the Detroit Lions are to defeat the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday they will likely have to do it without the services of two play-makers in Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush.

Both Johnson and Bush were sidelined during the Lions practice on Friday and neither are expected to play in the Week 6 contest.

The outlook for Johnson has been bleak since he went down last week. Megatron admitted on Wednesday that “a lot of treatment” was needed for him to return to the field from a high-ankle sprain. The Lions are hoping to limit the number of games he misses but this injury could last multiple weeks.

Joique Bell will return to the lineup for the Lions after he missed a Week 5 loss to Buffalo. Backing him up with be Theo Riddick and George Winn.
