So much for the big game of Mike Evans from a week ago. The rookie wide receiver will miss 2-3 weeks with a groin strain.
The injury happened in the Buccaneers upset win over the Steelers on Sunday. Evans and quarterback Mike Glennom showed strong chemistry resulting in four catches for 65 yards and a touchdown to the 21-year-old.
With a bye in week 7 it is possible Evans does not return until week 8.
Louis Murphy, Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Russell Shepard all should get increased playing time.
