With quarterback Josh McCown facing surgery on the thumb of his right throwing hand the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in search of another quarterback. Enter Terrelle Pryor.
Mike Glennon took over for McCown in Thursday’s blowout loss to Atlanta. Glennon figures to get quite a look by the Buccaneers coaching staff who brought in McCown prior to training camp.
Even with Glennon on the roster there is no clear backup on the depth chart. Thus the need for the Buccaneers to workout players such as Pryor.
There is a huge difference in playing style between Glennon and Pryor but right now the Buccaneers simply need a body. Already 0-3 this is shaping up to be another lost season.
Pryor failed to make the roster of the Seattle Seahawks this preseason.
