The Raiders signed former third-rond pick Vincent Brown to a one-year contract on Monday.
Signing Brown at the same time that No. 1 wide receiver Rod Streater underwent an MRI on his him flexor would suggest that the team had legitimate concerns.
Brown broke his ankle in 2012 and has not been the same. He failed to make the final cuts this summer this summer with the Chargers.
He caught 19 balls for 329 yards and two scores as a rookie in 2011. Thus far the Raiders have given no information about Streater.
